How happy we were when we discovered Aubergine restaurant! Their slogan is “Farm to Table” and that is exactly what they do. The restaurant is located on the road from Santa Gertrudis toward San Miguel. Identifiable by the sign outside on the left side of the road. Eggplant is the brainchild of Yolanda Torres and Victor Guasch (of Atzaro).
Eggplant’s garden is actually the heart of the restaurant. Here you will find lemon trees, lettuce fields, tomato plants and much more. The eggs, meat and fish are also local products of the island. The menu varies with the season. The interior is a cozy mint green color with lots of white and nature elements. Truly a place to unwind and enjoy delicious local cuisine. There is even a small store to buy some products for home.
